Enrollment & Degree Verification Request

Enrollment verification provides proof to third parties that you are enrolled at California Northstate University. The Office of the Registrar provides confirmation of your enrollment status, degrees awarded, and academic standing to financial institutions, organizations, employers or agencies at your request.

To release information to a third party, you must complete the Enrollment, Degree & Good Standing Verification Request and indicate what information to be included and submit to the Office of the Registrar. Requests are processed within 3-5 business days.

Enrollment verification includes the following information:

  • Current enrollment status
  • Number of credits
  • Major
  • Expected graduation date and term
  • Degree(s) awarded
  • Enrollment history: terms attended and term dates
  • GPA optional

Delivery options are: mail, fax, pick-up and email (only to CNSU email address)

Degree Verifications for Alumni

Students who wish to request a degree verification must download and submit the Enrollment, Degree & Good Standing Verification Request. Verification Request Forms may be submitted by mail, by fax, email, or in person:

Letter of Good Standing

A Letter of Good Standing states that you are currently enrolled at California Northstate University and in good standing with the University. The Registrar’s Office can accept a written request if you are needing proof of your good standing status. Please complete the Enrollment, Degree & Good Standing Verification Request and submit to the Registrar’s Office.

It takes approximately 5 business days to complete your Letter of Good Standing. The Registrar’s Office will notify you when your letter has been completed. A Letter of Good Standing is not given if a hold has been placed on your student record.
