Activity: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion - How the Clinician Mindset impacts Patient Health Outcomes
Date: November 20, 2021 - 9AM to 12PM (Pacific Time)
Venue: Zoom

Why this activity now? Mitigating healthcare disparity issues are a growing unmet need. The 2019 Sacramento Region Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) lists cultural competency and navigation of health care systems among the top 10 needs in the Sacramento region.

What is the issue?

Implicit bias is easy to overlook in self and in the system. Cultural competency issues are barriers to connection and care for patient populations experiencing healthcare disparities.
