Student Health Plan

All students are required to maintain health insurance while enrolled at CNU. To help students meet this requirement, CNU offers a Student Health Plan through Kaiser Permanente. Students not participating in the Student Health Plan must obtain private insurance and provide evidence of coverage through their online health records tracker. Evidence of coverage should NOT be sent to the Office of the Registrar.

ELIGIBILITY AND KAISER PORTAL ACCESS

To enroll in the Student Health Plan, you must be a full-time CNU student.

Please visit the CNU-Kaiser StudentNet to manage your enrollments and to learn more the plan benefits, pricing, and enrollment dates. To log on, you will need your CNU Student ID number, date of birth, and email. If you are new to CNU, you will receive an email in the summer from the Registrar alerting you to when the Kaiser StudentNet portal is available to use.

OPEN ENROLLMENT

Fall Open Enrollment: Begins in July.

EVERY CNU STUDENT MUST COMPLETE EITHER THE ENROLLMENT OR WAIVER PROCESS ONLINE BY THE END OF ENROLLMENT PERIOD.

Special notes for continuing students:

  • If you were enrolled in the Spring semester and want to continue your enrollment, you must complete the enrollment process.
  • If you were enrolled in the Spring and do not want to continue your enrollment, you must complete the waiver process.

Spring Open Enrollment: Begins in November.

  • If you are not making changes from the Fall semester, you do not need to complete the Spring Open Enrollment/Waive processes. If you want to make a change, then you must participate in the Spring Open Enrollment by either enrolling or waiving the plan.

The Kaiser Permanente policy provides students with continuous health coverage throughout the year including break periods. The fee for this policy is paid directly to the school, is billed on a bi-annual basis and is added to your tuition. Please contact the CNU Business Office if you have payment questions.

If after reviewing the StudentNet FAQs, you still have questions or issues managing your enrollment, please contact the Office of Registrar.
